Zazzle Now Sells Pillow Designs

Being that I used to work as a manager for a home decor company, I was so excited to have the opportunity to design pillows on Zazzle. Especially when you think about the possibilities, who couldn’t have fun designing custom pillows?

Pillows make an excellent way to carry a pop of color throughout a room. If you have certain colors or patterns that you’d like to repeat from curtains or room accessories, you can incorporate them into your custom pillow design on Zazzle.

Plus, they make the perfect gift.

I’m curious to know how well pattern only pillows sell versus pillows that have some kind of illustration or photo. This is mostly because a $50+ price point on a pillow seems steep for a pattern only pillow. However, many pillows offer the option to customize the pillows with text so this can definitively justify the cost. For the ones with illustrations and photos, you’re just not going to find something like this in a regular store.

New Summer Cookout and Father’s Day Items

The last few months have gone by so quickly. I’ve been designing websites and working on stuff for clients and haven’t had much time to work on my Zazzle products. I missed out on designing items in time for Easter, but I have posted a few items for Father’s Day. For some reason my new items took a week to show up in my Zazzle store. From reading posts of forum members, I learned that Zazzle was having some technical issues that caused many sellers to have delays with getting their newly posted items to appear in search results and in their stores. I will keep this in mind when trying to rush and get products out before a big holiday or for seasonal items in general. [Read more...]

Graduation Cards May 2012

Here in Virginia, public high school students still have a couple of weeks left before graduation. A few of my friends have been attending their college graduations. I’m posting a few graduation cards that I liked on Zazzle. Some are for the graduate to give to friends and family as thank you cards for gifts received while others are invitations to graduation ceremonies. There are also a few that are for giving to a graduate to congratulate him or her. [Read more...]

Back to School 3-Ring Binders

Back to School Zazzle

We’re getting closer to August so I thought I’d feature some back to school 3-ring binders. These are great ideas for students and teachers. Many binders retails for $5 to $7 but with a little extra money a customized binder can be purchased. I used to enjoy getting ready for the new school year by printing binder labels on the computer. I would have really loved custom binders with fun designs instead! Plus, for any families with multiple kids, this will help a lot with keeping binders separate and easy to find. [Read more...]

Xmas Zazzle Design Ideas

Even though it’s only early July, it’s time to get started designing holiday products. Making Family Address Labels for the holidays is an easy way to kick off your inventory. Also, if you price them right and work on promoting them, they should bring in good sales. Most stores have sheets of 30 stickers for about $3.00. The key to earning with this product is to promote outside of Zazzle. There is a lot of competition in this area. [Read more...]
